We all gathered, volunteers and other collaborating entities, in the wonderful area of the Olympic Village in Acharnes, Attiki, to clean up the central park.
A huge thanks to New Generation of Olympic Village, Let’s Do it Greece, the Greek Olympic Committee and the National Olympic Academy, the Municipality of Acharnes, the Civil Protection and the Women’s Association of Olympic Village, ELIAMEP and UPS Greece, for their participation and collaboration for this action.
These event took place in the context of World Clean Up Day and the “17 Sustainable Development Goals” campaign, delivering a resonant message for climate change we are facing.
The results of this action were:
60 volunteers
30 bags of general waste
500ltr of plastic waste
